Christina Grimmies Brother Has Heartbreaking Request
Marcus ‘Mark' Grimmie wants you to know Christina was so much more than his sister. The 22-year-old singer, who starred on Season 6 of The Voice , was shot and killed Friday, June 10 , while signing autographs after her show at the Plaza LIVE in Orlando.
'She was a partner in life. A superstar. A goofball. Introverted. And a friend to everyone. Genuinely. But above all...she was my baby sister,' Mark, who reportedly tackled gunman Kevin James Loibl after the shooting , wrote in a touching Facebook status Saturday. He asked fans to share their photos and memories of Christina, writing that he'll 'cherish it forever and always.'

Fans immediately joined the conversation with their own heartfelt tributes, writing about how Christina's music influenced their lives. They also posted similar messages on the Grimmie family's GoFundMe , which has raised over $125,000 so far. In a follow-up note to fans, Mark promised that both he and his parents 'will read every one of these personalized messages.'
Adam Levine , Christina's mentor during her time on The Voice , said he's ' devastated and heartbroken ' over her death. He even called her mother and offered to cover all funeral expenses, a gesture Grimmie's brother said left him blown away .
