Everything You Need Know If You Plan Visit Forever 21 Times Square

Forever 21 has invaded Times Square! The company opened its flagship New York store right across the street from the MTV headquarters this morning, but we scouted it at the opening party was last night . And it is MASSIVE — four floors, over 90,000 square feet, and 151 dressing rooms so that you can try on zillions of shirts until your little heart's content (during store hours at least, from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily). The storefront, located on Broadway between 45th and 46th Streets, features an enormous light board — you know, just in case you can't find the hugest single-brand retail store in Manhattan. And when you walk in, it feels like you're in a shopping mall with escalators down the center and overhead lights that are so bright they could blind you. But it's not a mall. It's one store. So how do we survive such a ridiculous shopping experience? How do we deal with SO MANY CLOTHES? Lucky for you, you have us as your guide.

YOU WILL TRAVEL DEEP INTO THE ABYSS OF THE STORE : This shot is right when you walk in. Double escalators make it easy for you to navigate the store with your shopping bags. And they keep going down ... and down ... and down.





YOU WILL HAVE SPACE TO MOVE : The layout of each floor is more spacious than other Forever 21 stores, which makes grabbing as many peasant tops as fast as you possibly can feel a little bit more civilized. And this shot is from before opening day. It will probably never look this clean again.

THERE IS A VARIETY : Heritage 1981 is Forever 21's vintage-y line, with soft graphic T-shirts, cut-off jeans, and hippie-inspired sundresses. Head to this part of the store if you're looking for casual, relaxed outfits.



THERE ARE SO MANY ACCESSORIES : There is a special area for jewelry and accessories. There are a lot of sparkly objects in there, so make sure you allot some time to this section because it's easy to get distracted.

THERE IS A WHOLE FLOOR JUST FOR BOYS : Bring your brother/boyfriend/boy who's a friend (possibly with benefits) down here, give them a gentle shove, and come back in an hour.

RANDOM OBJECTS ARE EVERYWHERE : Like ridiculously large lips. That light up. Yep.



THERE IS POTENTIAL FOR NAPPING : In case you need inspiration for buying cozy camis and tees to lounge around in, there's a bed in the middle of the sleepwear section. Or, if you're just tired of being around Times Square and need a place to crash.

IT WOULDN'T BE KITSCHY WITHOUT SOMETHING FROM NEW YORK : And just in case you forgot you were smack-dab in the middle of Times Square, a full-size, real-life New York City cab is parked in the middle of the bottom floor. Car keys not included.
