From Fallon Colbert
Regardless of what you think about Donald Trump 's politics, his presence in the Republican race for the 2016 presidency, his reality TV shows or his ridiculous hair, we can all come together and agree on this one basic fundamental Trump truth: it's super fun to do impressions of him. That's why almost every single late night talk show host and comedian has their own version of the 'Celebrity Apprentice' star, and even when they're terrible, they never get old.
Do you enjoy hearing the soothing, dulcet tones of Trump's brash and unusual New York accent without having to actually engage with any of his political talking points? Here are some of the most compelling Trump impersonations of all time, as performed by some of our favorite celebs:
- Jon Stewart
We miss Jon Stewart on 'The Daily Show' already, but at least we’ll always have his hilarious takedowns of Trump to look back on. His impersonation, though (it’s at the end of this video, around five and a half minutes in), never really improved past generic angry New Yorker — which is fine, because it’s great.
- Russell Brand https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPkY9Ik7T7U
Trump is a favorite topic on Brand’s Youtube show, The Trews, and he starts in on his own version of the candidate’s controversial opinions of Mexican people about a minute and a half in. As a bonus, his Bill O’Reilly impression is pretty solid too.
- Conan O'Brien https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9on9khjQsbo
Conan's impression (about 43 seconds in) basically consists of sucking all the air out of his face and messing with his hair. It looks a little Zoolander-ish. Which, let's face it, is actually pretty accurate.
- Rosie O'Donnell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64YhFQ99a-c
Ever wonder why Trump hates Rosie so much? This is why. Her impression starts a minute and fifteen seconds in, and yes, it's super realistic.
- Jimmy Fallon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ks_240VM1WI
Even when he was on 'SNL,' Fallon wasn't really known for his ability to impersonate celebrities as much as his infectious charm. But let's face it, his Donald Trump is AMAZING. Only a deviant would think otherwise.
- Kyle Dunnigan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dh6AslYH-NE
Dunnigan is a stand-up comedian who writes and performs on Inside Amy Schumer, co-hosts the popular podcast Professor Blastoff, and who regularly brings his Donald Trump impression to the Howard Stern Show on Sirius Satellite Radio. I definitely wouldn’t have been able to tell it wasn’t Trump if someone hadn’t told me.
- Darrell Hammond
The venerable king of pretending to be other people, Darrell Hammond’s Trump was consistently exceptional — and just as obsessed with Rosie O’Donnell as the real one is today, even after all these years.
- Stephen Colbert https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFVC3qYGYiE
Everything about this viral video for 'Late Night with Stephen Colbert' is literally perfect — his combover, his loud voice and vacant stare, his commitment to a diamond-encrusted heaven with cloud-side bottle service.

#TrumpYourCat is the best cat-based meme to happen to us… all month, at least.
