Game Of Thrones’s Cast Just Robbed The Iron Bank Of Braavos For Huge Season 7 Raise

Game Thrones S Cast Just Robbed Iron Bank Braavos

Like the salaries of most working people, the money that actors make, for the most part , isn't public knowledge. This is especially true for actors who star on as tight-lipped a show as Game of Thrones . However, thanks to some little birds, Deadline has the scoop on the salary negotiations currently going down in Westeros.

Main cast members Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau have renegotiated their salaries for the show's upcoming seventh and eighth seasons, the site reports. Both seasons will see the main cast pulling in upward of 0,000 per episode, which is impressive when you consider how little screen time each actor can get in a single episode.

For context, 0,000 could buy Jaime Lannister approximately 387,597 wild oysters ( at the current market price of .29 each ). Or, Jon Snow could buy Ghost approximately 11,114 deShedding Edge combs ( at least the direwolf food is free ).

Of course, it's important to note that these salary bumps don't ensure their characters' survival. So Tyrion, Daenerys, Jon, Jaime, and Cersei aren't guaranteed to make it to the end, though it's probably safe to assume they'll all survive the Season 6 finale.

As for their costars, including OGs Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams, The Hollywood Reporter reports that they're still in negotiations for their Season 7 and Season 8 salaries. (Dear HBO, please go re-watch the end of 'Battle of the Bastards' and tell me Turner doesn't deserve to make 0,000 an episode. Best revenge is your paper, Sansa.)

On the bright side, their costars' huge raises can only help their cause.
