There is a truly terrifying Hey Arnold! Vine making the Internet rounds this week. Seriously, these six seconds will shatter your childhood into a million pieces. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Yep, that just happened. The Vine's been viewed two million times since it was originally uploaded in 2013. [Note: Nickelodeon and MTV News are both owned by Viacom.] Poor Arnold and Helga are none the wiser.

Fortunately, there's a totally reasonable explanation for this moment that looks raunchy AF at first glance. You see, this scene is from Hey Arnold! 's Thanksgiving episode, where Helga and Arnold join Mr. Simmons's quaint dinner. Joy and Peter, the characters who appear to be getting their freak on in the Vine, are both at said dinner.

The screenshot below shows Peter sitting directly in front of the window.

And Joy is seated next to him.

Now re-watch the Vine, if you can stomach it.

From this angle, it clearly looks like Peter is licking, uh, something . But he and Joy are still at the dinner table, and I doubt they'd act that inappropriately (especially on a holiday). The most logical explanation? Joy is reaching across the table for something, and Peter is still munching away on that turkey leg. Nom nom?
