Justin Timberlake, Jimmy Fallon Bring Their Bromance To 'SNL': 4 Best Moments

Justin Timberlake Jimmy Fallon Bring Their Bromance Tosnl

'Saturday Night Live' spread early Christmas cheer with Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake joining forces for the show's annual holiday episode. Although JT was slated as the musical guest, with his 'SNL' veteran status ( he's hosted five times ), he appeared in a few standout sketches alongside real-life buddy Fallon. Here are the top moments from the hilarious night.

Bring It On Down To Wrappinville

Those hoping for the return of some of JT's most-loved characters weren't disappointed when the cold open was one of the singer's staple sketches. Previously tackling Omeletteville, Veganville and even Homelessville, this time the pop star appeared as a tube of wrapping paper, beating out Aidy Bryant's gift-wrapping attempts as he brought it on down to Wrappinville.

Fallon then hopped in as a shiny gift bag on backup, and the two went back and forth with mixed versions of Ludacris' 'Roll Out' and Run-D.M.C.'s 'It's Tricky' before belting out the signature 'Live from New York, it's Saturday night!'

'Celebrity Family Feud': JT Versus Jimmy

Timberlake has shown off his own impression of Fallon before on Fallon's 'Late Night' talk show, so when he appeared as his friend in the 'Celebrity Family Feud' game show sketch, both of the guys had a tough time staying in character. Fallon portrayed Jim Parsons from 'The Big Bang Theory,' with CBS cast characters facing off against rival network NBC's lineup.

When the two met at the podium to answer Steve Harvey's (Kenan Thompson) question, things got funny. When asked 'What's something you do to be sexy?' they could hardly look at each other without smiling, turning away from the camera to conceal a potential crack-up.

But it was when Timberlake dove into his Fallon impression, repeated hand gestures for emphasis, that a camera pan over to Fallon showed that the star had ducked behind the podium, presumably in a fit of laughter.

Oh, and the correct answer for something to do to be sexy? 'Be Justin Timberlake.'

Selfie With Your Skeleton

Clad in ill-fitting beige suits and a copious amount of chest hair, Timberlake and Fallon teamed up for another one of their fan-favorite sketches: 'The Barry Gibb Talk Show.' The guests included Cecily Strong's Megyn Kelly, Taran Killam's Paul Ryan and the real-life Madonna, who dropped by for a quick cameo. The Material Girl preached about politicians before Fallon interrupted her in typical Gibb manner. As Fallon and Timberlake began to sing the closing theme song 'Talkin' It Up,' they were joined onstage by Bee Gees man Barry Gibb himself.

Justin Walks Away

Hopping off the set and onto the stage, Timberlake sang 'Only When I Walk Away' for his first musical performance. Channeling the electro energy of the song, Timberlake bounced around, his silhouette visible through an angular laser-light show. Grids and pyramids of vibrant light scattered around him as he threw his hand up in the air, lurching forward every time he punched out the lyrics 'She loves me now/ She loves me not.' As the last chord struck, Timberlake walked away, leaving behind an optical illusion of light movement. For his second song JT kept things quiet, playing the hushed acoustic ballad 'Pair of Wings' on a much smaller visual scale.

The final 'SNL' episode of 2013 was a strong one, prompting a lot of big names to pop by. Paul McCartney appeared in the opening monologue, while outgoing New York mayor Michael Bloomberg chatted with Fallon at the Weekend Update desk. Even with several A-listers joining the lineup, the night belonged to best buds Fallon and Timberlake, whose real-life friendship and humor were evident on set. #Jimberlake
