For those still with us, we're ready to talk about one of the major cliffhangers from the Season 3 finale: that moment when Alex Vause's worst nightmare comes true as the prison has been infiltrated by one of her enemies (slash possible assassin).
So, she was not among the open fence frolickers who went splish-splashing in the sunny lakefront at the tail end of the episode, and her fate was left unknown. But if her chair-clenchy last scene had you worried she might NOT be back next season, Laura Prepon herself has some happy news for you.
The actress shared a picture of herself on the 'OITNB' Season 4 set Tuesday (June 23), looking thoroughly undead.

Now, we can't draw a ton of absolutes from this alone, but we can know that this means she'll definitely be back in at least some capacity for the next season. Which was not a guarantee, since the last time we saw her she was face-to-face with faux CO Aydin, who'd put a bullet in another dude's head right in front of her last time she saw him. It was always unlikely she'd end up in a body bag without us seeing her again, but not impossible.
So, that solves that.
(On a related note, the fact that she said 'awesome season' in the cap totally makes us think she's not going anywhere anytime soon ... but that's just a spot of speculative optimism.)
