Let Andy Samberg Tell You 7 Dirty Words You Can T Say Tv
' Brooklyn Nine-Nine ' star/perennial funnyman Andy Samberg is hosting the Emmys next month, which is cool because we like our television awards doled out in between goofy jokes delivered by charming AF entertainers. So it's pretty much a win-win.
The Emmys air on Fox, one of the big four networks on TV, which means the language the presenters and performers use has to be (mostly) within a certain set of guidelines. No crazy inappropriate jokes, no spirited retellings of ' The Aristocrats ,' none of the George Carlin's infamous ' Seven Words You Can Never Say On Television ,' etc.
But what CAN be said are words that sound dirty but really aren't -- like 'kumquat' and 'shuttlecock' and 'dictaphone' and, well, four others. We'll let Andy take it from here.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbuwCfnnB2w
Yeah, this should be a good show.
The 67th Primetime Emmy Awards air September 20 on Fox.
