Walking Deadstar Norman Reedus Launches His Own Daryl Dixon Book
Daryl Dixon does not exist in ' The Walking Dead ' comic books. He's a character invented entirely for the show. But that doesn't mean he doesn't exist in illustrated form.
In fact, actor Norman Reedus is so regularly bombarded with fan-created illustrations of his 'Walking Dead' character, that he's opted to compile the best of them together in a book: ' Thanks for all the Niceness ,' a compilation of the best of the best Daryl Dixon fan art.
Here's how Reedus describes the book:
''Thanks For All The Niceness' is Norman’s way to show his gratitude in a compilation of artwork made by his fans. The Norman/Daryl archetype is created in tattoo designs, cakes, pencil sketches, mosaics and more. Norman selected over 100 fascinating pieces that appear in this beautifully designed book. It’s real art made by real people for real people.'
The book is available for pre-order now, with part of the proceeds going to The Bachmann Strauss Dystonia and Parkinson Foundation. It arrives on October 31.
Before then, fans will get an even better look at the actual Daryl Dixon when 'Walking Dead' returns on October 12. We don't know what Daryl's up to in the coming season — frankly, we're in the dark on just about everybody , given the way things left off with almost every major character locked away in a train car, like snacks in a pantry. But we have at least one clue about Daryl's season five storyline, thanks to a photo he tweeted earlier this month.
