Young Thug Changes His Name And Shouts Out Harambe On No, My Name Is JEFFERY

Young Thug Changes His Name

Two weeks after announcing he'd be adopting a new moniker , Young Thug has cemented the name change with a new mixtape called No, My Name Is JEFFERY .

Thugger's 300 label boss Lyor Cohen announced the new project and the new name on the Rap Radar podcast earlier this month. Thug/No, My Name Is Jeffery confirmed the change during an interview on Beats 1 Radio shortly after.

Jeffery is all about Jeffery. It ain’t even about Young Thug,' he said. 'Ain’t no Young Thug songs on there.'

The new project features guest appearances from Wyclef Jean, Quavo, Offset, Young Scooter, and Gucci Mane. There's also a song called 'Wyclef Jean,' as well as tracks named after Swizz Beatz, Rihanna ('RiRi'), and dead gorilla/unstoppable meme Harambe — all apparently his ' idols .'

On the cover of No, My Name Is JEFFERY , Jeffery appears wearing an amazing layered dress and a white parasol over his face. His pose almost seems to be a direct echo of the dancing lady emoji (). Actually, who do we call to get a new emoji of this album cover?
